The story follows Lilith, a bounty-hunting salamander who uncovers dark secrets about the orphanage where she grew up. On her mission to protect the children, she collects purity by facing creatures that disrupt harmony. However, with each victory, her humanity fades away. As she progresses, Lilith questions what it truly means to save her home in an interconnected world filled with secrets, tactical combat, and a poetic narrative that evolves with every decision.
As a 2D artist, I had the privilege of designing the main characters and creating some of the assets implemented in the game, exploring the connection between visual language and a profound narrative. It was a transformative experience that marked the perfect conclusion to this chapter!

Character Design Process:
The character creation process was influenced by games like Knights and Bikes, Hollow Knight, Cult of the Lamb, focusing on a minimalist yet expressive style. Each character was designed with strong silhouettes and unique details to convey personality and story at a glance. This approach ensured the characters were not only visually striking but also easy to animate directly in Unity, enabling smooth integration into the game’s mechanics and fluid interactions with the world.
Visual Style
The 2D visual style draws inspiration from Cult of the Lamb, blending a rustic, textured aesthetic with vibrant, hand-crafted details. This approach creates an immersive world that feels tangible and layered, emphasizing depth and atmosphere while maintaining a cohesive and charming artistic direction. The textured finishes give the environments and characters a lived-in, organic feel that complements the game's dark and poetic narrative.
Concept Art
The game’s concept art aims to craft intriguing environments with a subtle, dreamlike atmosphere that breaks away from conventional reality. Each setting was designed to feel both familiar and surreal, blending organic elements with abstract shapes to evoke a sense of wonder and unease.
